Speculations were made earlier that KSEEB is planning to stop conducting SSLC and PUC Board Exams. However, the board has also announced the stability of the exams with significant changes in the syllabus in lines with the CBSE Class 10 Board Exam syllabus that would help state board students.

The Karnataka board will most probably organize supplementary examinations for those who failed in one or two subjects in the month of June 2014. The students who will be showing up for the supplementary exams after passing the exam can join the higher education in this academic year only with anything to lose.
